Loquinar was founded in 1994 and our area of specialisation has never changed. Our staff are long term and carefully hand picked. We still boast the fact that we have no sales staff. This stability has enabled us to maintain multi-year support and maintenance relationships with government, educational and private sector enterprises.

Specialisation & Methodology

Loquinar operate against a project implementation methodology which is specifically developed for Citrix implementations and follows current vendor best practices. As projects get smaller we scale back the enterprise level deliverables where appropriate. This ensures that regardless of project size, a structured approach using best practices is always employed. This repetition of process increases development speed and reduces project risk which in the end reduces costs and meets deadlines.

Our services are led by Tony Latimer and Frank Grippi. Extensive experience for Loquinar means personally working on over 200 Citrix sites (counted Jan2004, we stopped counting).

Mr Grippi's background is in Computing Engineering and finance and was originally the Microsoft Architect for one of the largest organisations in the country. He has gained extensive experience over the full Microsoft enterprise product suite, starting in the early 1990's. Mr Latimer's background is in Electrical Engineering (major in telecommunications) with a Thesis on OS performance models. Trained by Citrix Systems in the US, he has worked with multi-user systems since the late 1980's.

Skill Set

On each project we encounter many different types of hardware & software technology. Working with such a vast array of technology means that we are able to pick up new hardware and software quickly and integrate them into a thin-client solution.


  • Integrating hardware and software. Common examples include: HP, IBM, Dell, SAP, PeopleSoft, Sun Financials, Oracle, Microsoft Active Directory, Web Servers, thin-client terminals and various networking services.

  • Programming and scripting. Proficient use of MS objects i.e WMI/ADSI/WSH/ADO, VB/VBA/ASP/.NET, C++, Win32, SQL, packet analysers and Citrix specific diagnostic tools.

  • We have extensive experience with the Windows Server OS's and products such as SQL and Exchange Server. We have been responsible for designing Active Directory and Exchange systems for thousands of users.
